This is an experimental microlot where a lightly roasted Malawi oolong, also known as MOOLONG, was rested in an old whiskey barrels for several weeks. The collaboration for this unique project involved young whiskey makers from Cape Town, South Africa, resulting in a distinctive and flavorful product.

Satemwa Tea Estates is Malawi's last family- owned tea garden, with over 100 years of history. Third-generation tea farmer Alexander Kay revitalized Satemwa's specialty teas 20 years ago. Alexander and his team leverage Malawi's unique terroir, seasonal variations, and diverse cultivars to create innovative teas. This process involves significant craftsmanship.
